Late October Update

Not long until we're brewing now, October has been a jam packed month...

We've had a jazzy new industrial floor put down in the brewery, and we are thankful to the construction team at Skylark Golf and Country Club for their hard and super speedy work! Then all the fermentation vessels have been moved to their new location.

Our pilot brewing equipment has arrived, and soon we will be experimenting with the unique blend, developed with Solent Coffee Roasters, for our Coffee Porter. Aside from Coffee, we have plans to brew the UK's first Redbush, or Rooibos, tea beer and to host experience days where the public can have a go at brewing!

A minor setback with our boiler this week might delay us a bit, but we're still confident for mid-to-late November for brewing to begin. We're particularly excited to get ready for Portsmouth Beer Festival on the 16th and 17th of December and before then, have various launch nights at different venues. Hole Hearted will be launched at the Hole in the Wall, dates to be confirmed, then we also will be launching a new mad-hoppy beer at the Meat and Barrel.

The brewery shop is coming together, and we were granted our Premises License this week, we will be selling beer to take away in can, bottle, mini-keg, growler, polypin and cask - but most importantly, there will be beer on tap!

Big congratulations to Andrew who got married this week, he has been juggling work in the brewery with last minute wedding plans this month!

Stay tuned for more updates!
