Late December Update Q&A

We are now officially up and running!

Fallen Acorn Brewery has had a brand new floor, a re-designed layout of equipment, complete electrics, plumbing and steam pipe refit, a new tap room and various other bits and bobs that will help make the beer flow even better!

Where can I drink Fallen Acorn beer?

We received the all clear to begin trading in mid-December and now have Twisted Oak on at the Clarence Tavern, The Victualler, The Wheelwright Arms and The Rainbow Inn, Expedition IPA on at the Queens Hotel, The Wellington Arms, and both on at the Belgium & Blues.

Do you have bottles and Minikegs for sale?

From the Brewery we are selling 5L MiniKegs of all four of our core beers, this includes the return of Hole Hearted as well as our brand new Coffee Porter; Pot Kettle. The brewery shop will be open 9-7pm On Friday 23rd, 9-1pm on Saturday 24th, then re-open on the 28th-30th 9-5pm. Hole Hearted is going into MiniKeg on the 23rd and will be available from lunchtime. Bottles will be coming in the new year.

But when is Hole Hearted going to be in pubs?

Please join us on the 9th of January at the Hole in the Wall for the launch of Hole Hearted on cask. We are so pleased that our great Golden Ale will be returning to the pub it got its name from and in.

What other beers are coming along?

We are working on our Rooi Boss beer which is a Rye beer infused with Rooibos tea and will have it available in January alongside Black Hearted, our dark brew of Hole Hearted ;)

When will the tap room be open?

In late January you will be able to pop into the brewery shop for a pint and a pie.

When can I book a brewery tour?

We have a bit more work to do in the Brewery, but by February we will be able to book Brewery tours.

Keep checking back here on the blog for more info, follow us on Facebook and please review our beers on Untappd. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Fallen Acorn team!
