Sour Power Pilot Night

Join us at the tap room on Friday August 31st for the latest Nutty Ale pilot brew; Sour Power (6.5%).

Two styles become one with Sour Power! The sweet and juicy power-ups of New England IPA and Kettle Souring make for a wowzer of a unique ale.

A super sour base hopped with Cascade, Simcoe & Chinook is followed by powerful dry-hopping of Cascade, Citra and Mosaic. A fruity start, a sour middle and a juicy finish.

Distinguished Gentleman's Ride Solent

On Sunday September 30th 2018, tens of thousands of distinguished gentlefolk in hundreds of cities worldwide will don their cravats, press their tweed and sit astride their classic and vintage styled motorcycles to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of our charity partner, the Movember Foundation. See the global Facebook page for more details.

We will be clad in Tweed, smoking pipes and serving foaming pints to these chaps at Brockenhurst Village Hall for the end of their ride from Winchester.

Times still to be confirmed, but all are welcome to join and have some beers. 20% of Fallen Acorn's takings will be going to the Movember Foundation, however, you can still donate to the Solent team here.

The Dark Light Pilot Night

Join us at the tap room on Friday August 10th for the latest Nutty Ale pilot brew; The Dark Light (3.8%).

We're used to light coloured hop-forward beers, we're also used to IPA's that sit in the 5% bracket. We've thrown that out the airlock with this one...

The Dark Light has a clean base malt flavour profile with roasted notes that don't clash with the resinous, spicy, citrus and grapefruit hop flavours from Brewers Gold and Comet.
